Development of innovative approaches for the extraction and recovery of resources from gold-bearing materials
This project would address basic unanswered questions about how the application of environmentally benign process (i.e., biohydrometallurgy) on mine ores and tailings can leach and extract precious that is essential for today’s “smarter” technologies. Bioprocessing methods (i.e. bio-oxidation) for bio-extraction and bio-recovery of elements offer a new potential sustainable alternative compared to chemical conventional approaches.
CTRI is a technology transfer center aimed at stimulating innovation and technological development linked to the recovery of industrial residues and underutilized resources.
The CTRI offers innovative technological solutions, applied R&D and cutting-edge technical testing to support companies wishing to find a practical solution to their industrial residues.
This university is helping us for providing Laboratory devices such as ICP-MS, AES-MP, Sequencing analysis, SEM, FE-SEM, and Mass spectroscopy.
